The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (“SCAA”), hosted its 105th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 18 May 2018 and the World Chinese Accountants Conference - Opportunities of Belt Road Initiative (“WCAC”) from 19 May 2018 to 22 May 2018. The first WCAC was organized by SCAA to explore the opportunities bought by the “Belt and Road Initiative”. We are honored to be one of the sponsors of the SCAA’s 105th Anniversary Gala Dinner and WCAC Opening Ceremony on 18 May 2018.

Mr. Andrew Chen, an Executive Partner of our firm, the President 2018 of SCAA presided over the 105th Anniversary Celebration Gala Dinner Ceremony of SCAA of the conference and the launching ceremony of the WCAC, and invited Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Mr. Paul Chan Mo-po, the Financial Secretary of the HKSAR, Mr. Tan Tieniu, the Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR, Mr. Shen Chong, the Director General of the Coordination Department of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR be the Guest of Honour of Conference and Keynote Speakers. More than 500 Chinese accountants from around the world participated in the conference.

Mr. Andrew Chen hopes to enhance the communication between Hong Kong and Chinese accountants in other countries and provide more information for the industry through the meeting. 余強先生, 羅毅彪先生, 趙奕飛女士, the Partners of ZHONGHUI Certified Public Accountants, also attended the meeting in Hong Kong and Beijing and had a pleasant discussion and exchange with accountants from various countries.
